Geistesblitze – der Science Slam über das Gehirn
Science lovers will get their money’s worth at the Volksbühne when the science slam Geistesblitze! welcomes competitors and audiences on 7 February. The brainwave slam presents fascinating research on the human brain and nervous system in entertaining ways. What’s going on inside the brain? How is creativity created in the brain? Answers and further questions are presented by researchers in a science slam in front of a live audience.
Laugh until you cry, until you’re finally able to understand the incomprehensible, and take home a fresh dose of startling new insights. Young researchers will prove how exciting science can be. In a relaxed atmosphere and a short and crisp time frame of ten minutes, they will present the latest findings in their research areas – entertaining and in most comprehensible and creative ways. At the end of the evening, the audience judges by the loud(est) clapping of hands who has delivered the best presentation. Science Slam Berlin!
The proceeds from the event will go to the Deutsche Hirnstiftung.
Geistesblitze science slam is a production of the German Neurological Society DGN in cooperation with the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and Science & Stories GmbH.
