P14

We are P14, an anarcho-experimental space to meet, form gangs and develop theatrical performances. We create and realise ideas collectively, following only two rules. The first is: You’re allowed to make mistakes and you’re allowed to fail! The second is: There’s drama everywhere. Be a theatremaker in your own style!

We are a bunch of young people 14+, and regardless of our sex, gender, background or looks, we act up and make our own theatre. P14 is located on the 3rd floor of the Volksbühne. This is the place where we write, rehearse, play, fail and grow. It is also the place where we present ourselves and the productions to the public.

We operate on an autonomous basis, but we are not left to our own devices. The artistic director Vanessa Unzalu Troya is there to give us support throughout the whole creative process up to the production’s opening night. The technical directors and stage managers Leander Hagen and Mario Carstensen assist us in stage design and technology, ensuring that our ideas are presented in the right light, sound and video format.

We meet on a regular basis on the 3rd floor of the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
