Toter Salon

Lydia Haider teams up with director Claudia Bossard and actor Anna Rieser to stage the text „Zertretung II“ [The Crushing] from a production of the Volkstheater Wien for the show Toter Salon.

On February 2nd, the plague will take centre stage in an adaptation of the old text. It is a rant against everything and– in the tested Adorno style – against Jazz in particular. The trio address themselves to the biblical plague, as there are a number of objections against it.

Toter Salon is a bimonthly liturgy and mass celebrated on the last Friday of the month, with new unpredictabilities, influences and guests every time. Ten plagues in five shows guide the agenda of Toter Salon.
