Accessibility
The ticket office, main foyer and main auditorium/Großes Haus are wheelchair-accessible via the main entrance of the theatre building.
Wheelchair users visiting Probebühne/Videothek have access via lifts at Linienstraße 227, 10178 Berlin, at the stage door/back of the theatre building.
Barrier-free access to Sternfoyer, upper stalls, the locations Roter Salon/Grüner Salon and 3. Stock is currently not possible for structural reasons.

Accompanying persons
Companions of visitors with disabilities holding a disability code „B“ companion pass have free admission.
Visitors with hearing disabilities
Hearing aid users are welcome to connect to our inductive hearing system provided for performances shown at Großes Haus. Words and music on stage will be transferred to the user’s hearing aid via wireless technology.
Blind and partially sighted visitors
We regularly offer live Audio Described repertory performances in cooperation with spielplan audiodeskription at Großes Haus for blind and partially sighted audiences. For more information and upcoming performances click here.
Wheelchair spaces
There are a limited number of wheelchair spaces available in the stalls for performances on the main stage/Großes Haus and on Probebühne/Videothek. Please contact the box office 24h in advance of your visit by calling +49 (0)30 24065 -777, or emailing to: besucherservice@volksbuehne-berlin.de.
