Shaping together is one of the cornerstones of a functioning democracy.
In its project „Kiezveränder*innen – Solidarische Design Stationen“, the young social design collective criticalform, together with young Roma, addresses questions of participation on and in marginalized spaces: How can tools and methods be developed to become low-threshold designers of one’s own reality? How can spaces be negotiated co-creatively and made their own? And how can young people become pioneers of new social design?
As temporary design studios, the Solidary Design Stations research and practice how to think, design together and create visibility in small and large ways. The project presentation shows questions, ways and results from the project work in the Regenbogenhaus in Friedrichshain, in the LIBEZEM consulting centre in Friedrichsfelde Ost and in an AWO shared accommodation in Lichtenberg.
The project is part of BARE’s alliance work. The project is funded by the Fonds Soziokultur.
The exhibition will also be set up on March 17 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm, in the Grüne Salon.
So there’s another chance to see the project for everyone who could not make it the day before!
