ROMADAY 2023 – Closing party

For one week, artists, activists and academics explored the global contexts of environmental racism as part of the „No Climate For Nomads“ event series. They explored similarities and differences in living conditions and climate change impacts between Roma* and Sinti* and indigenous and racialised populations around the world, and sought common paths of solidarity towards better climate and environmental justice.

After the powerful Romaday parade from the Memorial to the Murdered Sinti* and Roma* of Europe to Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz on 8 April, the ROMADAY programme concludes in the Grüner Salon: with food and music we will celebrate the international emancipation movement of Roma. A brass band from Neukölln and DJ Karacho Rabaukin will make the Grüner Salon sweat!
