Bruno Lee is your typical goofball – slightly autistic, he lives in a shed in Barnim, looked after by a nice elderly woman, Miss Susanna, who is his foster mother. When Susannas nephew Snoop visits, he is told to stay away from Bruno. Bruno volunteers in the local church, where he meets Daniela, a disturbed teenager, who falls in love with him. They start a romance, and for the first time, Bruno feels happy and believes he has found a purpose in life – alas, his happiness is not meant to last. After years of torment and torture by his alienated mother, three local punks, added by a feeling of abandonment when Miss Susanna tries to sack him, and verbal abuse by the community priest, Reverend Malini and his wife, the young Bruno goes overboard, venting his exasperation in the most violent ways.
The script by Hong Kong superstar Bruce Lee was never made into film. In an action reading at the Dojo am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz it will be presented for the first time, accompanied by the Karate Kapelle Goshawk playing their greatest hits. No low blows are to be expected. Access with a black belt under reserve. Let the Kung-Fusion in our rolling video truck commence!
