The film’s not quite finished yet. It’s been eleven years in the making now, and we want to invite you to a preview screening! Shot in the south of Brazil in 2013, WEIHNACHTEN IN POMERODE is a fictional documentary, in which Hanns and Jan are going to Pomerode to celebrate Xmas there. Pomerode was founded in the year 1863 by Pomeranian settlers and is home to the highest proportion of ethnic German residents in Brazil (92%) today. The footage was “discovered” by Luis Anversa ten years after filming and made into a full-length movie.
