The Donkey Bazaar

The show, entitled „The Doneky Bazaar,“ is a narrative, presentation based on the cinematic journey of Abbas Mohammad Ayyoubi from the Dankey Bazaar of his village in northern Afghanistan. Ayyoubi’s early cinematic influences included Angilina Jolie and Arnold Schwarzenegger. After watching his first movies during his childhood, Ayyoubi developed a strong desire to travel from his village to Hollywood with his donkey.

In this show, Ayyoubi plans to present two of his first short films, which he has crafted with a style of dramatic storytelling. However, in his Stand up he developed narratives from the story of “The Donkey Bazaar” that elicit positive emotions and can bring smile.

My family has experienced the loss of their village, hunger, droughts and the effect of ongoing war, distroyed their nature which has led them to displacement. As the sole breadwinner and water provider for my family in Afghanistan, which includes numerous children, I kindly request for a fair donation.
