Romani POV: Young Romani People on Screen and Stage | Exchange of methods, performance, video, and discussion between Berlin and Brno | PowerPeng! & TUKE.TV
The Romani youth group PowerPeng! from Berlin meets the Romani media platform TUKE.TV from Brno. Through short films and a performance, they engage in dialogue and discuss how young Romani people in Germany and the Czech Republic keep the memory of Sinti and Romani alive through their media work, how they shape resistance against the far right, and how they can maintain their place in the public consciousness.
As part of the Erasmus+ project “Romani POV,” media professionals and youth workers will share best practices on self-determined media education, successful empowering youth work, and advocacy for Romani rights. Together, they invite the audience to join the dialogue.

What moves young people between summer, rap, and friendship? They honor heroes of the fight against fascism and give the middle finger to hate speech, admit their doubts, and find words to empower one another. They make a statement, in their own way: Direct. Honest. Uncomfortable.
PowerPeng! Short Film Presentation (20’) – From Horror to Activism
From script to shoot to post-production—all created by young Romani people. They present their works, discuss their intentions, and talk about the making of the films.
TUKE.TV Showcase
Excerpts from various program formats
As an independent production platform by Romani people for Romani people, TUKE.TV reaches a broad audience with its programs. With various formats such as “Silly Questions” about common prejudices or “Amare Lavutara” about popular music, TUKE.TV reaches out to Romani people of diverse backgrounds and age groups to strengthen their self-confidence, self-perception, and self-awareness. TUKE.TV will show selected excerpts from its productions.
Exchange and Discussion
Experts and young people come together for a discussion following the event, gaining deeper insights into each other’s working methods, highlighting the challenges of their daily work, and making plans for further exchanges and collaborations,
