In der gefühlten Vorkriegszeit, in der wir uns befinden, reihen wir uns ein in die große Beschallung und füttern das Gefühl Krieg: Mit dem ikonischsten aller ikonischen Schieß- und Ballerfilme der Popkultur: Rambo – First Blood – projiziert auf die Leinwand des Peer Gynt Bühnenbildes. Hat Rambo in den Sequels aufs Schießen eine klare Antwort – noch mehr Schießen – erhalten wir im ersten Teil Anschauungsunterricht eines gebrochenen Kriegers. Emotional hat der einstige Elite-Soldat Johnny (Einsatzgebiet: Vietnam) in seinem Heimatland USA einiges zu verkraften. Im Krieg war für ihn alles klar. Im Frieden ist hingegen alles verworren: „Nothing is over! Nothing! You just don’t turn it off! It wasn’t my war! You asked me I didn’t ask you! And I did what I had to do to win, for somebody who wouldn’t let us win! Then I come back to the world, and I see all those maggots at the airport, protestin‚ me, spittin‚, callin‚ me a baby killer and all kinds of vile crap! Who are they to protest me?! Huh?! Who are they?!“ Dann bricht der Filmheld zusammen. Das zeigen wir als mahnendes Beispiel. Wir protestieren nicht und wollen auch von Theaterseite aus das Gefühl Sieg – egal gegen wen – stärken. Und glauben daran, wie es Kaiser Franz Beckenbauer visionär schon vor 35 Jahren vorformulierte, dass das Team Deutschland dann „auf Jahre hinaus nicht zu besiegen sein“ wird!
