P14 – the things we don´t talk about

Von Wim Ruben Lenkeit

“Whenever I think of us, I seem to wake up in the dark.“

Two people sit facing each other. They talk—or at least they try. About love. About loss. About what remains when there’s nothing left to save.

the things we don’t talk about is a conversation in fragments, about intimacy and distance, about desire and guilt, about freedom and attachment. Between bodies and language, between tenderness and annihilation, a conversation unfolds that is at once a farewell, a confession and a taking apart of the self.

What does it mean to speak about the unspeakable?
What happens when talking is no longer cure but injury?
And how can hope be imagined amid all the loss?
