P14 – HORROR VACUI – Baby kommst du heut noch an?

A train seldom comes alone – and if it does, you bet it’s the last one.

Seven characters are loitering in the streets around the train station. Some never wanted to be here, others never wanted to be elsewhere. Well, for now they don’t have a choice anyway. It is a hot day and from the transistor radio in the station café pop songs are blaring. Plus cryptic pieces of wisdom from the station loudspeakers now and again. The rest is signal noise. The wait is pressing, while the tracks slowly get to become covered with moss and the pile of butts grows to ascendable heights.

The crucial question blares out of the telephone speaker: You gonna arrive yet today, Babe?
