Malala malt

Malala, what do you dream of? The children and young people of the Al-Farabi Music Academy, under the artistic direction of Felicitas Arnold, explore this question in their musical „Malala malt“, tackling social issues such as social inequality, children’s rights and empowerment. The piece is inspired by the story „Malala’s Magic Pencil“, in which Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai tells of her childhood dream of a magic pencil with which she can shape her world.
