Kontrolliert!
A participatory play development by Ensemble Angestrahlt with costumes by Ensemble Angezogen.
What’s more fun – chaos or control?
For some, control is the most important thing in life. Others only feel comfortable in chaos.
But who actually controls which stories are told on stage?
For the play development Controlled! the players take control of the theater production! Supported by theater professionals, the group decides what happens on stage and what the costumes look like. The result is an uncontrollable trip to the limits of chaos: Two teenagers win a journey to nowhere. A late-night shop owner loses control. Real estate sharks and kebabs dominate the city. Only a dance demo can help!
Relaxed Performance
The performance of Controlled! takes place as a Relaxed Performance. This means we want everyone to feel welcome – even those who are often told at school or in the theater that they are „too loud“ or „too restless“. We believe: You know best how to concentrate on the play. Some people find it helpful to sit quietly. Others find it helpful to move or make noises. No matter which group you belong to, we’re happy to welcome you to our play.
