KABARET INGEBORG

The Filipino author, director and musician Khavn is staging the one-off KABARET INGEBORG in the Roter Salon. The unmistakable poems of Ingeborg Bachmann serve Khavn as a lyrical starting point for his own compositions. Sung by actress Lilith Stangenberg in the role of Ingeborg Bachmann and musically accompanied by a band featuring Brezel Göring, Katch23, 1delacruz and Khavn himself, the result is an opera of everything that is wonderful and that celebrates Ingeborg’s poetry and her various lovers. Sideshow artist Evelyn Frantti, who performed in Florentina Holzinger’s production of Apollon in 2018, will also be a guest. The Roter Salon, transformed into a secret psychedelic-surrealist bar in the middle of 1960s Berlin, will be unrecognizable on the evening.
