FUX vs BREAKOUT

Drag vs. art, entertainment vs. gutter: two queens on stage, ready to shatter all expectations in terms of drag. Rooted in the club scene, they host the biggest TV drag shows in Germany and Sweden.

The day after at 8pm Robert Fux is to be seen on stage with his drag performance APOKALIPSYNC.

Robert Fux, actor and permanent member of the Stockholm theatre, is a drag queen of Austrian origin and moderator of RuPaul’s Dragrace Sweden; he plays Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Royal Swedish Opera, and Miss Agatha Trunchbull in the Swedish version of Matilda- The Musical.

Berlin-based drag queen Barbie Breakout, activist, moderator and podcaster, is one of the most prominent queer-activist voices in Germany. In team with two fellow drag queens she hosted The Diva in me on TheTVDB in 2020, and now hosts Drag Race Germany since 2023. Her latest book Tragisch, aber geil 2.0 [It‘a tragedy, but it’s awesome 2.0] is bringing hope to the queer community.

Stefan Ingvarsson, analyst and expert for Russia/East Europe, writes for Swedish media on cultural affairs. He feels closely connected to the history of LGBTQI+ and all themes drag. As cultural council of the Swedish embassy in Moscow 2015-2020, he worked with Robert Fux in preparation for a performance at the Gogol Center.
