Immersed in a theatre environment early on, emme masters every aspect of live performing and creating her own cosmos, no matter where. Light show, costumes and choreography – all created and programmed by emme herself – make the live sets a cathartic exploration of the darker realms while allowing audiences to dance and mosh and listen.
Heaven Help Me is a solo opera based on a libretto exploring the consequences of violence in intimate relationships, capturing the artist’s emotional depth. Dark and intense, emme combines sophisticated sound design with heavy dance music and grim vocals. Her music has attracted the attention of like-minded musicians such as Andy Morin, King Woman, S280F, Evanora Unlimited, Swan Meat, and Zachary Jones from MSC & The Body.
Gil Schneider is a Berlin-based composer, producer and DJ from Switzerland. Their compositions and performances are mostly non-linear yet nonetheless exciting experiences that create an exceptional feel and emotional states triggered by the potential of music. Atmospheric sounds mix with superimposed percussion tracks, immersing in a variety of genres and timelines, creating moments of surprise and bliss in a quite unique and personal approach to music. Gil has published two EPs as Danse Noire, and three pieces for a piano trio as Yegorka. Scores for Akinola Davies‘ BBC production Black to Life and Channel 4 Short X US, a live concert and a production for Deutsche Oper Berlin, theatre plays and dance pieces staged at Zodiac Helsinki and Schauspielhaus Zürich are among Gil’s work output, as well as a few singles and remixes released on PTP, Mixpak and Staycore.
sssnuffi and Gast are two Vienna-based artists and, in team with DJ Terror, founders of the art collective and event series ‘Dishes‘ in Vienna. They also collaborate on the legendary Hyperreality Festival for Club Culture started in 2016 by the dramaturg Marlene Engel. Both artists study at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and work on various projects exploring musical creativity and musical work.
