Ästhetiken der Freiheit im Kontinuum der Gewalt: Künstlerische Dialoge zwischen Kurdistan und Deutschland
„Narrative is radical, creating us at the very moment it is being created.“ – Toni Morrison
Storytelling is more than just looking back. It is a form of action. It is an act of intervention. It is a way of being.
Kurdistan is both a geographically defined place and an ongoing colonial situation: fragmented, under administration, rendered invisible. Yet it is also a space in which voices, bodies and language emerge in opposition to these conditions.
The sociologist and political theorist Rosa Burç and the researcher and artist Havîn Al-Shindy will enter into a dialogue between art and politics, between memory and the present, between possibilities for peace and enduring violence.
