On his new album Statik, Actress aka Darren Cunningham, one of the best-known experimental electronic musicians of the 2010s, presents himself confidently and free from convention. Statik is a magnetic walk through reflections from Detroit, Manchester and his own career.

Ahmed El Ghazoly aka ZULI is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and sound artist from Cairo, Egypt. On his new album Lambda, he makes a similarly striking left turn as Actress. On September 28th he will present a live AV show for the new album in collaboration with Anton Filatov, thatinhabits the uncertain territories of the twilight between day and night, speaking of the intricate intimacy of internal conflicts with the voice of raw, glitchy textures. The performance conveys a dramaturgy of a 24-hour cycle via the dynamic lighting of an ethereal sundial, exploring the dichotomies of underground and celestial on a stage that combines reflective surfaces, rawness of metal constructions, and soft drapes,. In this sensory landscape originated from Berlin’s avant-garde scene, delicate vocals and intense visuals intertwine, mirroring the tension and beauty of inbetweenness.
