Our March event in the series Vergessenen Arbeitskämpfe/Forgotten Labour  Struggles will commemorate the wildcat strikes in various South African mine sites in 2012 during the rule of Black president Zuma.

Riot Spears

Angry Pop/Grunge trio Riot Spears formed in 2019 and released their formidable mini EP I am not an object, not yet a person in 2020. The first album BAD came out in 2021 to much critical acclaim. Riot Spears have conquered the world’s stages together with Skating Polly and Akne Kid Joe, but they also love to play a gig on your granny’s birthday party for a box of brandy chocolates.
