The Last Hit! (2023)

Noon has not yet struck and the human enigma Casper hits the streets of Berlin. Traffic is pounding his brain, while Black Pearl and Dora go to work. Black Pearl feels bad as he follows Dora’s footsteps. She knows that people are in need; their whispers. She knows how to help them become rid of this filthy life! In such moments, you want to remember everything. Destiny is in the camera. Look! Something human is flying over Berlin! If life is but a dream, let its meaning coincide with it!

SWING LOW (2021)

Berlin, the metropolis of idleness, in the midst of the picturesque and disorderly crowd emerge three heroes of our time (you get what you deserve).
Black Pearl, Casper, and Dora, are fallen angels, escaped from the asylum, altar boys chased out of the church, prowling around the cemeteries, using the underground as hopscotch, they live solitary in the jungle of the city, establishing themselves some new laws, they race with the world. Saints or idiots, their heads resound like vasts bells.

Adrien Lamande

Born in 1981, Adrien Lamande directed theater from 2001 to 2010, searching for independence, aesthetically and institutionally. He left France for Germany in 2011, working for stage and film with Frank Castorf, Khavn De La Cruz, David Marton, and others. THE LAST HIT! is his latest film and was premiered last year at the 69th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
