The Hunger Symposium

Author, digital expert and creator of the cult blog IheartBerlin Frank R. Schröder, will take us on a journey through the biggest viral phenomenon and chronically online moments of 2024. The playful study of those specific cases becomes an occasion to dive deep into the complex intrinsic mechanisms of online trends, their economical and political implications and how they shape our everyday life even if only for some fleeting moments. For the lecture, Frank also spoke with content creator Kelley Heyer who is the originator of the viral „Apple Dance“ which became the driving motor of the Brat Summer trend.
