On June 16th, 2018 a telescope located in Hawaii was observing a huge explosion in some galaxy 200 million light-years away. The supernova resulted in an extraordinary discovery – the cosmic cow.

As a docu-fiction, the film develops alongside the story. In a transmedial and democratic fashion, the screenplay is written from one scene to the next. Plunging headlong into the unknown is the only way to create something new in more sustainable terms. There are a thousand ways to find the cosmic cow, and none of them seem logical on the face of it.
