Swingistan has been playing on stages in and around Berlin for almost ten years. With their 2022 debut release „Demokles“ Swingistan blur the boundaries between genres like jazz, world and pop and create a handmade, unconventional and danceable sound. Swingistan’s music takes you on a journey from Turkish metropolitan melancholy over Catalan beaches into the Berlin’s cultural scene. The band welcomes you to their own imaginary Wunderland – dancy, dreamy and full of surprises.

Kokokollektiv is a music and creative project that brews its musical stories from exquisite ingredients in Berlin: a big ladle of Swing, a dash of German Chanson, seasoned with sounds from the chaos cosmos. Step inside the Kokokosmos and taste the cosy Koko-Swing, wiggle your toes and waggle your ears!  With the debut programme and album „Kokolores“ (2020), Kokokollektiv plays on community projects and cultural utopias of all kinds. Behind the fairy-tale gimmicks, the questions linger: Who are we and where do we want to go? From which perspective do we understand the world? And what happens when we turn it upside down?
