The Citizen Trilogy by the authors Annalena and Konstantin Küspert explores these questions in search of the “we” – as in “Wir sind das Volk/ We are the people”. They set out to roam the streets and club houses and living rooms to listen and present a panorama of national identities and political developments in Germany.
