With Preda Roma Band & DJ Tru:L and Bogdan Dragomir

On 16 September 2022, the Grüner Salon at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz opened under the curatorship of RomaTrial e.V. and has since been home to an interdisciplinary, politically progressive programme of artists and activists from Berlin’s Roma and Sinti communities. It is also a stage for collectives and creative artists whose lives are shaped by racism, anti-Semitism and discrimination. With them, RomaTrial e.V. founds the vision of a future society in the Grüner Salon. A society in which the existences and perspectives of all people are of equal value. A future in which Roma and Sinti are no longer problematic phenomena, but hosts and creators.

 

In July 2023, our first season at the Grüner Salon will come to an end – and we want to celebrate! The Berlin „Preda Roma Band“ with classical and modern music from Southeast Europe and DJ Tru:L and Bogdan Dragomir will get us dancing.

TRU:L and Bogdan are a Romanian-born, Berlin-based DJs and promoters, organizing events with the intention of uniting people through nightlife music with a feel-good & soulful vibe at its core. They are seasoning their selection with unexpected gems of all kinds, so get ready for a sonic trip all around the world.
