A famous philosopher once said: „The alcoholic always only drinks until the second to last glass, so that he can continue the next day.”
I always drink at least two to seven drinks too many – in order to stop drinking the next day, „forever“. Which I do, that next day – only to start again the day after, with two to seven drinks too many.
Like a desire that never gets fulfilled, my thirst cannot be quenched. Much follows much, and more follows more.
A famous actress’ answer to the question about „the most beautiful place in the world“ was: „Drunk in bed”. The famous actress was the one who taught me how to drink, many years ago.
I know that the famous actress is right. But I don’t remember what it feels like, „drunk in bed.“ I was out of it for the longest time.
