Das Wetter is a magazine for texts and music with a dedication to intellectual inspiration and the fun of art. At the Roter Salon venue, the editorial team of Das Wetter and members of the Volksbühne ensemble are determined to make the most enjoyable event out of that mix. Katharina Holzmann and Sascha Ehlert will curate a collage of texts and music, theatre and art, adding a good dose of laughter and dance, in the company of friends, family and actors from the ensemble.

Episode 01: About New Beginnings

Our last show at Roter Salon almost five years ago, was all about „the ephemeral“. Now the time has come, and instead of wearing black, we are wearing –  glitter! To celebrate a new beginning and kick off a regular Wetter event series in our favourite Berlin venue. It’s all about reclaiming a space as well, along with a wonderful young Berlin-based musician, actors from the Volksbühne’s new ensemble and texts curated by Katharina Holzmann and Sascha Ehlert. Addressing the here and now but also forward-looking, the texts will celebrate a new start, a remake without making haste, without degenerating into a performance show. Together with you, we want to: find questions instead of answers. Questions such as: what could a new beginning look like? How do you do a redo, and how do you do it for real?
