Jemima Rose Dean is a West Australian dancer and choreographer who has been working professionally in Germany since 2010. After completing a classical ballet dance education in Zürich, she went on to join the corps de ballet of the Bayerisches Staatsballett. After years of dancing in pointe shoes she transitioned to high heels at the Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin and began a foray into the field of aerial-acrobatics. Over the past few years, Jemima has been working as an independent artist, creating original works and collaborations. She is currently working on her Master’s project at the HZT Berlin which is centered around the skills of high heels, stripping and pole dancing. Her first full-length solo directed and written show, The Feral Womxn, premiered 2024 in Cologne.
