The philosophers Gunnar Hindrichs and Christoph Menke have both published seminal works on the topics of revolution and liberation (Philosophy of Revolution 2017, and Theory of Liberation 2022). As panelists, they will discuss the relationship between revolution and liberation from different angles, asking: How has the Exodus narrative shaped our understanding of freedom and liberation? What is the role of art in revolution? How can we capture the essence and, more crucially, the becoming of freedom?
