The casting directors Natascha Zimmermann (e.g. ALASKA), Sabine Weimann (e.g. ALL YOU NEED) and Annekathrin Heubner (e.g. ENDZEIT) – members of the Bundesverband Casting – talk about their profession. This involves aspects such as: Who do we propose and who decides? Why is casting an artistic process? How can room for manoeuvre in the cast be explored together? In the course of the talk, the casting trio will also answer the questions and positions of the guests. Young directors – students, graduates, career changers – as well as producers and other representatives of Berlin’s young film scene are cordially invited.
