On 14 May, Fabian Hinrichs will bring a selection from his music collection to the Volksbühne – for the tenth edition of the Plattenspieler series in the Red Salon, presented by Thomas Meinecke.

Two turntables, a camera with a projector, two microphones, and a screen — these are the stage directions for the Plattenspieler series. For its ninth edition at the Volksbühne, Thomas Meinecke will meet with poet, publisher, and translator Daniela Seel on February 10th in the Roter Salon to listen to records and musical pieces together with the audience.

He himself will pack records to play for his guest, curious about his reactions. Fabian Hinrichs sets the tone: the evening thrives on a spontaneous musical response to what the guest selects.
