From drama to humor, from metaphysical to surrealistic. Also he shows in an uncompromising way the distortion, the contradiction, the loneliness, as well as the excess, the illusion, the euphoric side of a metropolis.
Yael Elbee is a director who first encountered RAN in 2016, and over the years, they have fostered an unexpected and unique friendship. Her film is an energetic montage, deftly weaving together selected archive footage and clips from casual meetings over the years.
