Striptease is part of the sex industry. Sex workers are professional service providers and entertainers who shape Berlin’s culture and nightlife. They are talented narrators of their own stories who resist the stigmatisation of their lives and work in many ways. This night breaks with the stereotypical narratives about their industry, produced, written and performed by sex workers. It shows their skills, from storytelling to the art of facing any situation with pragmatism, humour and a will to survive.

The Berlin Stripper Collective is committed to the destigmatisation and decriminalisation of sex work and striptease – it is a creative and political collective born out of solidarity with each other, bringing hot striptease with a political twist to the stage. Forget everything you think you know about strippers. Prostitutes to the front!

For all those who have nothing to celebrate this December, the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz invites the Berlin Strippers Collective, IXA CHICHI, HANABY DJ to Vodka and Merry Stripmas – And A Happy New Queer.

Berlin Stripper Collective: Mia Onacid, Disco Bitch, River Roux, Alice La Douce and Icy Ivy

Hanaby (DJ Set): Meet powerhouse Hanaby, who is loved and celebrated for her energetic sets as well as her diverse musical tastes, and always makes for a great atmosphere.
