Toxische Pommes began to work through her then recently ended love relationship on the Chinese surveillance app TikTok at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Driven by her enthusiasm for the nastier sides of life, she has regularly posted 15-second satirical videos on the most diverse sociocultural and political phenomena ever since. Based on her own experience as the “beautiful stranger” raised in a neat but grey suburban town of Lower Austria’s industrial complex and now making a living as a lawyer in Vienna, she likes to parody Austrian society and culture to unmask racism, sexism and classism in everyday life, not sparing anyone, neither fraternities nor woke rich kids.

Her programme Ketchup, Mayo und Ajvar is a first step towards the stage, and she very much hopes that she will be funny and entertaining longer than 15 seconds.

Lina Ehrentraut makes zines, comics, illustrations, fashion, readings and exhibitions. Lina prefers to combine everything. Then items of clothing appear in the comics or become expansive installations. Lina’s themes revolve around social and emotional aspects of interpersonal relationships, sex and self-doubt.
