Sophie Rois takes us on a journey back into the 20th century, to bygone times with stories from the British subcontinent. Writings by the novelist Ian McEwan and songs by Ray Davies, member of the legendary English band The Kinks, tease out bizarre everyday encounters and events, and the magic of first experiences and growing up in Britain. The musical reading-performance Have a Cup of Tea with Sophie Rois is accompanied by Mark McRae and Clemens Maria Schönborn on guitar.

For over 15 years guitarist Attila Muehl has been an important part of the jazz scene in Europe. Muehl has played concerts with Johnny Griffin, Till Brönner, Waja Slavin as well as Kurt Rosenwinkel and has released two albums. Clemens Maria Schönborn has a long artistic collaboration with Sophie Rois, which has resulted in many film, theatre and radio works.
