The traditional banger* is made from sausage meat and skin – or casing, as the experts say. The production is easier if two people share the task of filling the casing. One is handling the mincer, the other is in charge of twisting the intestine when the desired size of the sausage is reached.

Our personal recommendation for Xmas: Boil the wurst! We, the BONUSMATERIAL crew, are nothing special, we, too, use water for scalding the sausage…

So let’s wield our cooking spoons in a joint effort to produce wurst and create a potpourri of music, fun and high spirits on 9 December, 2022 at Volksbühne’s  Roter Salon on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.

*And don’t be PO-ed about the dead animal stuff. Because, you see, it’s like this: Many sausages might taste and smell of animal substance, but are, in fact, an illusion…
