Target group: all audiences, regardless of age, gender, race, and body form. 30 Participants max.
**This workshop is going to be going on partially in nudity. For the safety and comfort of the participants, we decided to exclude cis-male.**
Experience a captivating synergy of body movement and painting at our workshop, where participants, adorned with colors, may choose nudity (depending festival organizer approval). Guided by me, you’ll connect with your body, while breathing and dance techniques forge bonds with others, all on a grand canvas. As well as express our generation’s Trauma, fear, and struggle into something creative, hope and joy. Unleash your essence in this vibrant journey of self-expression and connection.
Jiannyuh, Wang
Jiannyuh (he/they) calligrapher and mixed-media artist from Shanghai, now in Berlin. Blending calligraphy, painting, and performance, they bridge cultures. Their work delves into queerness, body positivity, resilience, and authenticity born from past struggles. Onstage, they craft narratives that captivate visually and emotionally. Jiannyuh’s strokes and movements reflect on tradition, modernity, identity, and humanity, showcasing art’s transformative power—a fusion of heritage, innovation, and emotional resonance.
