AKE DIKHEA?: Festival Concert & Party

ORK Brilliant
The “ORK Brilliant” orchestra merges authentic music of Roma* from Kosovo, that can often be heard playing at weddings and circumcision celebrations. The catchy tunes of current pop songs under the musical direction of Nermin “Nero” Alishani (synthesiser), creates a brilliant atmosphere for cheerful dancing and celebrating.

Uroš Petković aka DJ UCE & Aimilia Varanaki
Uroš Petković (DJ UCE) is a Serbian producer and composer living in Berlin. Thanks to his projects such as ShazaLaKazoo, BalkanBeats SoundSystem and Jazzotron, UCE is an important part of the Balkan and E-Swing music scene. The violinist and guitarist delights the best clubs in Europe with his unique blend of traditional rhythms with a tempting touch of Serbian flavor. His DJ skills will be accompanied live on the violin by Aimilia Varanaki.

The concert is part of the 6th International Festival of Romani Film AKE DIKHEA?, which takes place from 24 – 30 October 2022 in the BABYLON and the Grüner Salon of the Volksbühne. Financed with funds from the Spartenoffene Förderung of the Senate Department for Culture and Europe.
