Psychic Liberation (PL) ist ein 2013 gegründetes Label, das ursprünglich mit Miguel Alvariño unter dem Titel Primitive Languages als Kassetten- und Plattenladenprojekt in New York City lief. Seit 2019 wird es von Nick Klein solo unter dem Titel Psychic Liberation aus der EU heraus betrieben. Für die zweite Ausgabe der gleichnamigen Reihe im Roten Salon der Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz hat Nick Klein Teresa Winter und Wilted Woman eingeladen – außerdem steht der Labelchef selbst hinter den DJ Decks.

Wilted Woman is the alias of Berlin-based composer, musician, and radiomaker Elizabeth Davis. Her music defies easy categorization—it is constructed with a combination of self-made instruments and software, violin, drum machines, bluetooth peripherals, and other sounding objects. In addition to her solo work, she regularly collaborates with Silvia Kastel as Shakey, with Christoph de Babalon as Suds, and with Nick Klein. Over the last decade, she has performed at venues and festivals across Europe and North America including Sonic Acts, Cafe Oto, Transmediale, ZKM, Fylkingen, and Meakusma, as well as countless basements, clubs, restaurants, and living rooms.

Teresa Winter is an artist from the English Yorkshire coast. She produces and performs experimental music working with electronics, collage and vocals. Wire writes that she “excavates sonic memories to create narratives that sidestep time.” She has released  LPs through The Death of Rave, Boomkat, Reckno and has an upcoming album coming out on Night School.
