Fusion Jam Session

Fusion Jam Session is an evening that starts with a concert and grows into an open playground of sound and collective improvisation. At the Grüner Salon, musicians and listeners alike are invited to step into an atmosphere where boundaries between stage and audience gently dissolve.

This edition opens with Husbandry, an alt-rock group born in the quiet Berlin suburb of Steglitz in late 2023. Composed of Max (guitar, vocals), Liam (violin, mandolin, guitar), Hannibal (drums) and Ben (bass), their music is a restless weave of textures: from the folky intimacy of Elliott Smith, through the heavy-set rhythms of Duster, to the expansive post-rock landscapes of Tortoise, and the jazzy, raw harmonies of King Krule. Husbandry’s songs, infused with mercurial lyrics and shifting moods, reveal fleeting portraits of nameless characters and fragile moments of life and loss.

After their set, the night opens up for collective improvisation. Bring your instrument, your laptop, or simply your ears — and dive into an evening where music is both performance and dialogue.
