Cash n Prizes with Puddles and Sunny

Die Arbeiten des Performancekünstlers Jeremy Wade, die auch Kuration und soziale Praxis umfassen, regen zum Nachdenken an: Sie drehen sich um queere/feministische Strategien, die relationale Ethik der Fürsorge, neoliberale Kritik und die Gewalt, die soziale Normen auf Körper ausüben. Wade ist Absolvent der SNDO in Amsterdam und erhielt im Jahr 2000 einen Bessie Award für Glory am Dance Theater Workshop in New York City. Seit 2006 lebt und arbeitet er in Berlin. Er hat Fountain, Death Asshole Rave Video, Drawn Onward, Between Sirens und The Clearing kreiert, wo Puddles the Pelican zum ersten Mal auftrat. Seither arbeitet Wade mit Darcey Bennett an der Weiterentwicklung ihres Lieblingscharakters Puddles the Pelican, einem kaputten Vogel, der mit seiner Band The Creatures from the Deep im Keller eines durch die Hölle treibenden Kreuzfahrtschiffes singt und Geschichten erzählt. Gemeinsam präsentierten sie Shows im Mousonturm, HKW, Tanzquartier Wien und beim Fusion Festival.
