Psychic Liberation (PL) ist ein 2013 gegründetes Label, das ursprünglich mit Miguel Alvariño unter dem Titel Primitive Languages als Kassetten- und Plattenladenprojekt in New York City lief. Seit 2019 wird es von Nick Klein solo unter dem Titel Psychic Liberation aus der EU heraus betrieben.

Jiyoung Wi is a writer and musician based in Seoul/Den Haag. She writes fiction in between institutional and non-institutional contexts and works with sounds in between clubs and art museums. Her methodology involves building and breaking sonic narratives by arranging and re-contextualizing disparate sound sources ranging from field recordings to spoken word. She approaches to sound and text as invisible experiences and phenomena and is interested in the narrative symptoms that emerge when both are juxtaposed on the same axis. In a series entitled ‘Sound Fiction,’ she explores these symptoms through sound art operating within and without the art space. She has been co-organizing an experimental/leftfield listening event ‘Sorrow Club Seoul’ since 2019.

Sara Persico is a Berlin-based, Naples born sound artist, performer & DJ. She cut her teeth experimenting on the fringes of Naples’s fiery underground scene, while finishing her academic music studies, developing a technique that would integrate her voice with analogue electronics, field recordings, and samples. She presented her music in festival and venues like Ballroom Blitz Beirut, CTM, Irtijal, Ormside Projects, documenta fifteen, Codex Club, Berghain Kantine, Dancity Festival among others.
As improviser and performer, she has collaborated with a wide spectrum of artists, joining Evelyn Saylor’s vocal ensemble for Caterina Barbieri’s acclaimed “lightyears” show at Rewire Festival and London’s Southbank Centre, and worked on projects alongside Elvin Brandhi, The Ex’s Andy Moor, Tony Elieh, Ludwig Wandinger, Dirar Kalash and many others.
