Current hygiene and protective measures for your visit

Maintain distance: A minimum distance of 1.5 metres must be maintained in the entire Volksbühne. Seats have been arranged to adhere to the required physical distancing regulations.

Face coverings: Please wear a mask or alternative to cover your mouth and nose when entering and leaving the building and while using the toilets. It does not need to be worn during the performance. Please keep wearing your face covering until you’ve taken your seat and put it on before you get up again. If you are unable to wear a face covering because of a physical condition, please bring the applicable medical certificate with you. We are also required to inform you that this generally increases the risk of infection for yourself and others.

Disinfection: Mobile sanitizer dispensers can be found by the box office and in the foyers, please use them.

Minimize transmission: Anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or has been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 (tested or suspected) in the last 14 days, cannot attend any event. Furthermore, if you or someone you’re in contact with should develop or recently had symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, runny nose, cough etc.), you must stay home and not attend any event.

Box office: Any reserved tickets must be picked up 30 minutes before the beginning of the performance. Please use a contactless form of payment if possible. Card payment terminals are disinfected regularly.
