Elodie Evers

Elodie Evers is a curator for contemporary art. She studied Cultural Sciences and Art History at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin and the Université du Québec à Montréal in Canada. In 2011 she received a MA in Cultures of the Curatorial at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig.

After working at the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin und the Berlin Biennale, she was curator at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf from 2009-2016, where she organised numerous exhibitions that attracted international attention. Between 2016-2018 she developed the artistic program of ACUD, one of Berlin’s oldest and last independent artist communities. She is the author of several lectures and essays on contemporary art, monographes, interviews and exhibition catalogues.

At the Volksbühne she is head of the program of the Grüner Salon and curates the exhibitions at the Pavilion am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
