The Volksbühne Berlin is presenting the following concerts on the main stage, and in the Roter and Grüner Salons in January 2019:

Main Stage

New Year’s Concert: Dota
Tuesday, 1 January 2019, 20:00
Volksbühne main stage
20 / 16 €

The Volksbühne's New Year's concert is a tradition, just like Christmas and Easter. Hungover people summon their last bits of energy and drag themselves to the theatre. This year they'll be rewarded with a concert from Berlin songwriter Dota, who shows how successful, intelligent, German-language pop music can be made through self-organised structures beyond the major record labels. Stimming x Lambert
Saturday, 19 January 2019, 21:00
Volksbühne main stage
20 / 16 €

What happens when a pianist who always performs in a strange animal mask and an in-demand techno producer join forces? That's exactly what Stimming and pianist Lambert wanted to find out. The result is decidedly distinct, combining Lambert's laid-back piano playing with highly rhythmic sonic worlds. More information

Funny van Dannen
Friday, 25 January 2019, 20:00
Volksbühne main stage

Funny van Dannen is a musician, storyteller, painter and father. The stories in his songs are endearingly loopy, active, often naive and mostly on the border of the trivial, without drifting into the banal. Now he's back at the Volksbühne with his chanson-like folk songs about the ins and outs of love, suffering both great and small, and our eccentric world – all for the further exploration of the German soul.
