As you already know, Chris Dercon stepped down from his position as artistic director of the Volksbühne last Friday. Klaus Dörr took over his duties as acting artistic director with immediate effect. The programme announced for the upcoming months will proceed as planned. The following will be presented for the first time at the Volksbühne:

26 April – Work/Travail/Arbeid (Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Rosas & Ictus Ensemble) – Germany debut / main stage

26 April – Today Is Tomorrow (Calla Henkel and Max Pitegoff) – Premiere / main stage

5 May – Leiden ohne Liebe (aua aus, OHWEH OHWEH) (P14) – Premiere / Dritter Stock

22 May – Bardo (Jesse Darling) – Premiere / Volksbühne Fullscreen

13 June – MENGE (Gisèle Vienne) – Guest performance / main stage

21 June – Enfant (Boris Charmatz / Musée de la danse) – Guest performance / main stage
