Gegensteuern. Für eine neue Wirtschaftspolitik gegen Rechts
by Gustav A. Horn

Literature
In German

The AfD (Alternative for Germany) appears to have firmly established itself in German politics. The discussion about counter strategies, however, mostly focuses on if and how one should address the party's functionaries and their voters. Is that enough? Doesn't the appeal of right-wing populist parties for many people in Europe reflect deeper social problems? How can those be addressed?

Gustav A. Horn says that decades of neo-liberal politics and social democratic parties' failures have paved the way for right-wing populism. With concrete examples he shows what political change must look like in order to strengthen democracy and lead our country into a socially and ecologically just future.
