Offene Wunde NSU – Offene Wunde BRD
Book presentation and discussion with Michael Buback, Andreas Förster and Thomas Moser
Roter Salon

The connections between the RAF terrorist complex, Oktoberfest bombing, the NSU and Amri/Breitscheidplatz are the subject of this discussion with Michael Buback, Andreas Förster and Thomas Moser. Host: Clemens Riha.

Even after the conclusion of the NSU Trial (although the judgements are not yet final), there's more questions than answers in the NSU scandal. For the families of the victims first and foremost, it remains an open wound. At the moment, the investigations of nine suspects are still open. It remains unclear whether these will lead to a second trial. The involvement of undercover agents in the series of robberies and murders is as good as completely unexplained. At the same time, the NSU complex has become a medium, revealing parallels to other cases of terrorism in the history of the republic: the Oktoberfest bombing in Munich, the RAF Buback assassination and the recent attack on the Christmas market in Berlin in 2016.

Starting out from the in-depth experiences and findings in the NSU complex, connections to the other cases can be pointed out. Everywhere the same hidden structures, the same ambiguities and contradictions, the same material crop up. These cases touch on the foundations of the political structure of the FRG and are, in this respect, political cases.
